Mail-in, in 4 simple steps

You contact us

Tell us how many pairs you're sending via the contact form.

You pack and send

Protect the blades well and send the parcel to the Auderghem workshop.

We sharpen by hand

Japanese water stone then professional Flat Hone machine, edge and tension checked.

Back to you

Your shears come back sharpened within 5 days, protected, ready to get back to work.

Packing your shears properly

Careful packaging protects the edge in transit.

  • Wrap each pair individually (bubble wrap or thick fabric) to prevent any contact between blades.
  • Use a rigid box rather than a soft envelope — the blades must not be able to move inside the parcel.
  • Include a note with your name, the number of pairs and the subject of your original request.
  • A tracked shipment (with a tracking number) is recommended, especially for valuable shears.

All of Belgium

The mail-in service is available to all hairdressers in Belgium, whether in Antwerp, Ghent, Liège, Namur or elsewhere in Flanders or Wallonia — not just around Brussels. The sharpening rate (25 € per pair) stays the same no matter where you're sending from; only the shipping cost varies depending on the carrier chosen.
