Le Taillant offers hairdressing shear sharpening, in-salon, at the workshop, or by post. Rates shown on the site are in euros and confirmed before any work begins on a pair of shears; they may change without notice for new orders.
Le Taillant benefits from the small-business VAT exemption scheme: VAT is not applied to services.
Shears dropped off at the workshop are examined before any work begins; any pre-existing damage or blade peculiarity is reported to the customer before sharpening. Le Taillant cannot be held liable for damage that predates the drop-off.
Shears sent by post travel at the sender's responsibility until received at the workshop, then at Le Taillant's responsibility until handed to the carrier for return. Careful packaging and tracked shipping are recommended. Le Taillant cannot be held liable for a parcel lost or damaged by the carrier.
For the in-salon service, a time slot is agreed in advance with the salon. Travel is free from 4 pairs of shears ordered; below that, a call-out fee applies, disclosed before booking.
Payment is made by QR code, bank transfer, cash at the workshop or in-salon, or by invoice for professional clients.
Under Belgian law, the right of withdrawal does not apply to sharpening services fully performed at the customer's express request before the end of the withdrawal period.
These terms are governed by Belgian law. Any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the courts of the judicial district of Brussels.
